This CCIS training program is designed to cover the specific training requirements and other relevant information that will assist PHC Specialist Nurses, Community Nutrition Service Workers (Dieticians) and Social Workers in using CCIS.
Target Audience
This half day (4hrs) training program is aimed specifically at PHC Specialist Nurses, Community Nutrition Service Workers (Dieticians) and Social Workers using CCIS and have already completed the CCIS Basic New User training program.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Create a new Medication Event
- Add a Medication Administration
- End date a Medication
- Record a Medication Adverse Reaction
- Service a Client Diary Entry/Multiple Entries (within a Case)
- Alter the Status of a Diary Entry
- Create a new 'Service' Issue at a Case Level
- Create a new 'Other' Issues at Case Level
- View the Person Issue History from the View Person/Client form, the Client Summary form and the Case Issues form
- Update the Status of an Issue
- Create a Service Event and Link a Case Issue to the Event
- Create a Group
- Create a Group Membership
- Create a Group Session Event
- Add Group Attendees
- Add Involved Providers to Session Event
- Add Documents to Group Session Events
- End Date a Group
Recommended Pre-Learning
It is recommended you complete the CCIS Basic New User Training before enrolling in this course.
Session Delivery Mode
Training sessions are delivered:
- Face-to-face onsite, or
- Virtually via Microsoft Teams
- Please ensure the Microsoft Teams application is installed on the device you will be using.
Duration
240 minutes.
Completion Requirements
To be marked as completed, participants must:
- Attend the entire training session
- Participate in all required activities

- Test your headset, microphone, and audio prior to the session
