Overview
This course module is offered to any election stakeholder or interested member of the public.
It provides information about first preference counts.
Target group
Casual staff employed in a scrutiny centre as count staff, or any election stakeholders or members of the public who would like to learn more about how first preference counts are conducted.
Voting centre staff do not have to complete this course as it is already part of the online training assigned to election day voting centre staff.
Learning outcomes
The objective of this training is to inform election stakeholders about how first preference counts are conducted.
Duration
This is an online self-paced course. The course will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

For the best experience this online course should be viewed on a desktop or laptop computer. You may be required to listen to audio if the course includes learning videos. Please ensure you are able to listen to audio through a speaker or earphones if applicable.
