Overview
This course is for all NT Health Doctors who use Acacia 1.0 Patient Administration+. This course provides an overview of the Acacia 1.0 functionality for doctors that work across all hospital settings.
Learning outcomes
If you complete each section in this course, you will learn how to:
- set inpatient preferences and navigate the Current Inpatient List
- set outpatient preferences and navigate the Appointment Worklist
- update the status of a patient’s appointment
- record an appointment outcome.
- view the Theatre List and Theatre Planner
- view doctors ED notes
Obstetrics doctors only
- Add, edit and cancel antenatal medical history
- record the pregnancy, birth and outcome for a non-registrable pregnancy loss
Recommended pre-learning
It is recommended you complete the following eLearning courses prior to attempting this course.
• Acacia Fundamentals v3 course (40 min)
• Acacia Patient Master Index Training (PMI) v2 (40 min)
Duration
- Part 1: 25 minutes (all doctors).
- Part 2: 20 minutes (Obstetrics doctors only).
Completion requirements
To be marked as complete, you are required to complete the quiz at the end of Part 1.
Technical requirements
Only the videos in this course contain audio. You may prefer to use a headset to listen to the narration within the videos. Closed captions are available for all videos.
Viewing the modules on a large monitor/screen is recommended. You can view the modules on a laptop, however you may experience legibility issues in some areas. This is a self-paced, self-enrol learning course. There is no cancellation policy that applies to this course.
