In this online course you will explore two modules that support the NTPS Cross Cultural Training Framework : Working in the NT Public Sector and Working with Cultural Difference.

Target

This course is for new Northern Territory Public Sector employees.

Overview

A key action within the NTPS Indigenous Employment and Career Development Strategy 2015-2020 (IECDS) is that agencies must ensure all employees participate in cross cultural awareness and competency training based on the NTPS Cross Cultural Training Framework.

This Framework outlines a suite of cross cultural training programs across five key areas:

  1. basic cross cultural awareness training;
  2. in-depth cross cultural training;
  3. training for managers of multi-cultural teams;
  4. cross cultural training for senior managers; and
  5. reverse cross cultural training.

During this Foundational Cross Cultural Story you will explore two modules that support the NTPS Cross Cultural Training Framework:

1. Working in the NT Public Sector; and

2. Working with Cultural Difference.
