A training to assist front line staff to understand communications styles and manage complaints at the point of service.

Target

All NT Health front line staff

Overview

This course has been created to provide staff with the necessary skills to communicate successfully with consumers and to manage direct point of service complaints.

The course includes tips about what good 'customer service' and how it can be achieved.

It is a good forum for exchanging ideas about complaint resolution and challenges faced by frontline workers.

Face to Face or online course.  Rural and remote staff will be prioritised for the online sessions.  Darwin Region staff are encouraged to attend the face-to-face sessions.

Nil

Technical Requirements

For those attending the online session, you will require access to a quiet room, MS TEAMS, a camera and a microphone.  You are required to test the equipment at least two days before the training session to ensure everything is working correctly.

 Minimum cost is $182 per participant for a minimum number of 8 participants.  

Completion

To complete this course, attendees must attend the 3.5 hour course.

This course is not available to Non-NTG Users and is designed for NT Health staff.

How to secure your place in the course

Your enrolment request will be reviewed and dependent upon the approval of your manager.

Payment Process

The course coordinator will process a Journal to charge your cost centre with the course fee.

Cancellation Policy

The cost of the course will be charged in full in cancellation is not advised 48 hours before the start of the course.
