Target Audience

This training course is intended for users with Acacia Read Only access.

Learning outcomes

Upon completion, the training will provide important information about a range of topics including:

  • How to log into Acacia
  • Basic features and functionality in Acacia
  • Searching for, and viewing a patient's record
  • Ward summary and printing labels
  • Reviewing a patient’s EPR
  • View and update patient allergies, sensitivities and alerts
  • Access reports

Recommended pre-learning

It is recommended you complete the following eLearning courses prior to attending this face-to-face session.

 • Acacia 1.0 Fundamentals v3

  • Acacia 1.0 Patient Master Index Training (PMI) v2

Session delivery mode

The training sessions are either delivered face-to-face onsite or virtually via Microsoft Teams. Please ensure that the Microsoft Teams application is installed on the asset you will be using.

How to Cancel

To cancel:

  • Email DCDDABS-HSS.TrainingRequests@nt.gov.au as soon as possible or
  • Self-cancel on MyLearning by opening the training event and click Cancel button.

Please note that cancelling the Outlook calendar invitation does not cancel the session or notify the trainer.

To reschedule, sign up to a new session.

Technical requirements

Sessions delivered virtually via Microsoft Teams, ensure that the Microsoft Teams application is installed on the asset you will be using. You must prepare for training by testing Microsoft Teams and your headset/audio/microphone.

Completion requirements

To be marked as complete, you are required to attend the full training session.

Self-enrol

NTG Staff – login with your NTG LAN details. These are the same details you use to log onto your work computer.
