Course Description
The Katherine Region Meet & Greet Program is an opportunity for senior management to welcome you to the Big Rivers Region Health Service and the Department of Health. This face-to-face program provides further context about the organisational aspects of the Department as well as service specific information that will guide you in your day-to-day work.
Target Audience
This is Big Rivers (Formally Katherine) Region multi-disciplinary program for all new staff and those returning to the workforce after 12 months or more absence.
Learning Outcomes
Have an understanding of the Department of Health (DoH) Strategic Direction and Culture Charter, policies, procedures and key factors affecting the work environment.
Complete Requirements
To be marked as having completed this course, you are required to attend the full day. To print a certificate of attendance, the online evaluation is to be completed.
How to enrol
1. Select a date from the above Training Dates and click on “Apply Here”.
2. Ensure that the training date, venue and region is the correct one.
3. Complete the online registration form and submit for approval from your Supervisor / Line Manger. If you have completed your registration correctly, the form will close and you will receive an email confirming your application was completed successfully.

Cancellation
Please be aware that a Non-Attendance Cost of $250 per person applies if no prior arrangements have been made. If you are unable to attend a training session, please email the Coordinator.
To re-book, applicants will need to submit a new application for the preferred training date.
