This module an introduction to the NT Welfare Functional Group and aims to describe how legislation, key roles and functions come together under the NT Emergency Management Act and Framework.

Target

This module is compulsory for all NTPS staff working in the Welfare Group.

It is recommended for all TFHaC staff and NTPS staff interested in working for the Welfare Group.

Learning Outcomes

Participants will:

  • describe the NT Emergency Management Arrangements
  • understand the role of functional groups in emergency arrangements
  • understand the role and function of the Welfare Functional Group
  • describe key roles in the Welfare Functional Group.
