A course to develop PHC Remote Nurses and Aboriginal Health Practitioners’ knowledge and skills to support clinical decision making in safety and the treatment of clients after hours in a remote setting.

Target

Primary Health Care Remote Nurses and Aboriginal Health Practitioners

Purpose

This course aims to improve the effectiveness and quality of care of PHC assessment and management of after hours in remote communities.  It aims to develop Primary Health Care Nurses and Aboriginal Health Practitioners’ knowledge and skills to increase confidence and knowledge of processes and safety.

Duration (online course)

Nine modules, 2 - 3 hours

Completion

All modules are required to be completed. You are also required to complete the quiz at the end of each module achieving 100% pass mark.

Technical Requirements

This course has been optimised for Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. You will also require a speaker/s on your computer or mobile device, as there is audio throughout the modules.
