This is a self paced online course on the NTPS Code of Conduct.

Target

• This is an essential training course for all NTPS staff who are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner for Public Employment.
  
• Please note that this course is not for staff who are under the jurisdiction of other commissioners, for example, some PFES and DAGD staff who have an agency specific code of conduct. Please check with your agency if you are unsure.

Overview

This is an online self paced module designed for all NTPS staff  who are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner for Public Employment. The Code of Conduct was issued by the Commissioner for Public Employment as Employment Instruction (No 12) and is part of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act's (PSEMA) subordinate legislation. It is part of the terms and conditions of all employees' employment with NTPS to complete code of conduct training.

The eLearning training has been designed to enhance the knowledge of new and existing staff in what is required of them as NTPS employees in regard to ethical practice and appropriate workplace behaviour.

Learning Outcomes

• become aware what is appropriate and inappropriate workplace behaviours
• understand the underpinning Legislation
• identify where to obtain support and advice in relation to these issues
