Hazardous substances can come in various forms in the workplace, and exposure to chemicals can have both acute short and long term effects to health and safety.

If a chemical is classified as a hazardous substance, then a risk assessment is required to be carried out in its use.

This Hazardous Substances module contains:

• Guidelines for working with hazardous products
