Overview

Healthy Smiles - Oral Health & Fluoride Varnish Training Program provides background information and an understanding of:

• Oral Health and Oral Disease
• Introduction to the Social Determinants of Oral Health
• Early Childhood Caries
• Prevention and Management of Early Childhood Caries
• Lift the Lip assessment
• Referral Guidelines
• Provision of Fluoride
• Introduction to the application of Fluoride Varnish.

Program requirements

Online course

This online eLearning package consists:

• 8 online theory modules
• 88 question Workbook
• online resources and information

Completion requirements

To complete this online eLearning package in full, you are required to:

• Undertake and complete the 8 online theory modules. 
• Achieve a 100% pass in the 88 question workbook. 

Workbook notes:

• The workbook can be completed in multiple sittings, and when ready to submit for marking click 'Submit' button.
• 3 attempts are allowed in order to achieve 100%. If Participant fails to achieve 100%, they are required to contact the Oral Health Training Coordinator.

Continuing Nursing Education Points

This course attracts 16 RCNA CNE points.
