This ACIS Jade Care Clinic Booking (JCCB) Basics training session is designed to provide training for basic functionality of JCCB for making bookings for outpatient clinics. 

Target audience 

This training program is explicitly aimed at JCCB users responsible for staff that are required to perform basic functions in JCCB for booking patients into outpatient clinics. Staff maybe required to print out a daily list of bookings and print out appointment letters to send to patients. There are four areas of basic operation of JCCB that are covered in this session: accessing JCCB and patient search, making patient bookings and Administration bookings, printing appointment letters and running reports.

 

Learning outcomes

At the end of this course, users will be able to: 

• Access JCCB from CareSys
• Patient Search
• Patient bookings (with and without waitlist)
• Tracking patients including: Did not wait; Did not arrive; Cancel
• Creating Administrative bookings
• Printing appointment letters
• Running reports such as daily clinic lists, missing information and clinic statistics

Recommended pre-learning

It is recommended that clients are familiar with CareSys before attending this training. This may be obtained through attending an ACIS Admin or ACIS Nurse training session, or work experience using the systems.

Session delivery mode

The training sessions are either delivered face-to-face onsite or virtually via Microsoft Teams.

Please ensure that the Microsoft Teams application is installed on the asset you will be using.

Duration

1.5 hours.

Completion requirements

To be marked as complete, you are required to attend the entire training session. 

Technical requirements

Sessions delivered virtually via Microsoft Teams, ensure that the Microsoft Teams application is installed on the asset you will be using. 

You must prepare for training by testing Microsoft Teams and your headset/audio/microphone.

NTG Staff – login with your NTG LAN details. These are the same details you use to log onto your work computer.

Non-NTG Staff – login with your MyLearning account details or apply for a MyLearning account using the Application form for non-departmental staff.

How to cancel

  • Email DCDDABS-HSS.TrainingRequests@nt.gov.au as soon as possible or
  • Self-cancel on MyLearning by opening the training event and clicking the Cancel button.

Please note that cancelling the Outlook calendar invitation does not cancel the session or notify the trainer.
