A blended course to prepare clinicians to use the Hemocue Hb 201+ analyser. The Hemocue 201+ Hb analyser is standard clinical equipment routinely used to screen for anaemia in Primary Health Care remote health centres.
Target
All Primary Health Care clinicians who are required to use the Hemocue 201+ hemoglobin analyser.
Purpose
Hemocue Hb analysers are used in the remote Primary Health Care Centres to screen for anaemia. To ensure the results they provide are accurate staff are required to undertake training.

Duration (online course)
The online component will take approximately 30 minutes with a further workplace assessment

How to pass
To complete the training package you are required to:
- Complete a short pre-learning quiz to assess existing knowledge
- Watch the video in the course (3.5 mins)
- Visit the HemoCue website and watch the additional instructional videos (6.5 mins total)
- Review the written information
- Complete a short quiz to consolidate learning
- Complete a competency assessment in the workplace.
Technical requirements
Learning modules contain sound / voice overs. You will need to access these modules on a device that has sound enabled.
