Overview
This public policy development course provides an introduction to the role of government as a policy-maker. It places emphasis on the difference between administrative policy and public policy and examines the role of the public servant in effective policy development.
This course builds on the foundational learnings from the Foundations of Public Sector Governance (formerly MoG) workshop and provides you with an opportunity to examine a cyclical model of policy development, together with best practice approaches to policy formulation.
