This course will provide you with an overview of and general introduction to the circulation configuration, structure and processes that are involved in the planning, implementation and management of various circulation settings, loan and borrowers’ policies. Prerequisite learning is required before attending this session.

Target audience 

LANT Staff who will use the Worldshare Management System (WMS) in our new library at the Education and Community Precinct (ECP)

Staff from other special or government libraries such as the Parliamentary Library 

Learning Outcomes 

Knowledge of the OCLC circulation configuration environment

Knowledge and understanding of how loan policies are implemented and how these policies relate to other circulation functions and settings such as borrower types, user profile, RFID kiosks etc.
