Overview
This course will provide you with an overview of the maternity functionality available in Acacia 1.0 Patient administration+.
Target Audience
Staff that work across the Maternity setting.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course users will be able to:
• Navigate the Appt Worklist and set preferences
• Record and edit a current pregnancy
• Add and edit antenatal observations
• Add and edit an antenatal screening questionnaire
• Add and edit antenatal medical history
• Record pregnancy history
• Record appointment outcome
• Request and move medical records
• Admit hospital boarders
• Add diet orders
• Record labour and birth
• Record birth outcomes, register and admit baby
• Record placenta details
• Create a patient alert
• Discharge mother and/or baby discharge boarder
• Record birth and outcome for non-registrable pregnancy loss

Duration
- Part 1: Maternity - Outpatient Essentials (45 minutes).
- Part 2: Maternity - Inpatient Essentials (45 minutes).
Completion requirements
To be marked as completed, you are required to complete the learning modules.
Technical requirements
Only the videos in this course contain audio. You may prefer to use a headset to listen to the narration within the videos. Closed captions are available for all videos.
Viewing the modules on a large monitor/screen is recommended. You can view the modules on a laptop, however you may experience legibility issues in some areas.
