This training course is intended for ED Doctors.
This online course provides participants to understand the Renal functionality in Acacia in how to Manage Patient Allergies & Sensitivities, Patient Alert, Print Labels, Ward Summary Floorplan and Ward List, Haemodialysis Regine, Treatment Summary, Add a Clinical Note, Discharge Patient, Treatment Summary of Discharge Patient and Reports.

At the end of this course users will be able to:

Part 1:

  • Navigate the ED view in Acacia
  • Capture patient movements
  • Search for patients using ED Enquiry
  • Add, remove ED Clinicians
  • Add Floorplan notes

Part 2:

  • View and manage encounters and entries
  • Allergies and alerts
  • Add ED Diagnosis
  • Add a Progress Note
  • Add and authorise a Discharge Summary
  • Add an ED Medical Certificate
  • Outstanding Discharge Summaries
  • Add ED pre-arrival

Part 3:

  • Lock an entry
  • Print Authorised Discharge Summaries
  • Discharge a patient from ED
  • Add and edit an Internal Consult
  • Update if a consultant has declined, approved a consult
  • Process an Inpatient discharge from EEMU
  • Break the glass for a patient

Part 4 is the knowledge check
