Target audience 

This course is for staff, cooks or managers working at Early Learning Centers including ECECs, Family Day Care and Center based day care.  In particular it is relevant for people who prepare food for ECECs.  

Overview

This course covers information on

  1. The Australian Dietary Guidelines; how much food should be offered to each child 
  2. Making a nutrition plan (Nutrition Policy) for your centre 
  3. Menu planning 
  4. For remote centres Trouble Shooting. Or for Urban centres reducing waste.

Duration and delivery

This is an online course each module should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. 

Completion requirements

To get a certificate complete at least 4 of the available 5 modules.
