This course is to provide the participant with

  • the Practical Skills Assessment form to be completed and signed off by any Implanon accredited provider currently in practice.
  • a link to upload their Certificate of Attainment provided by Family Planning (the registered training organisation).

Target

Clinical Staff interested in learning how to insert and/or remove Implanon NXT®

Non-Government Health Services

Non-Government Health services staff may complete the online modules. However, content will be Northern Territory Department of Health and/or NT Health Services centric. Subsequently, you will be required to adjust this to your organisational procedures.

Clinical Staff refers to Doctors, Nurses, Midwives and Aboriginal Health Practitioners (AHP).

Completion Requirements

To complete this course you must:

  • Access and completed the Practical Skills Assessment form.

  • Arrange for practical assessment in your workplace. This can be done by any Implanon accredited provider currently in practice.

  • Email the completed form to Family Planning NT at implanon@fpwnt.com.au.

  • Family Planning, the registered training organisation, will  issue you with a Certificate of Attainment via email.

  • Upload the Certificate of Attainment.

How to enrol

  • To enrol in this course follow this link, and click the 'enrol me' button at the bottom of the screen. External / non-NTG users may use the Application form for non-departmental staff.
  • Once enrolled you will gain access to the full course site, you must then book in to attend a face to face workshop, via the seminar booking system.
