Manual tasks are common throughout the workplace and involve a range of tasks that if not done correctly, can impact on your health. Tasks vary in the degree of risk, but removing all risk is not always possible. The most common source of workplace injuries are manual tasks like lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, moving, holding and restraining. Keeping in mind that the risk becomes greater when combined with vibrations, awkward positioning, repetition, twisting, etc.

Manual handling training is provided to reduce the amount of risk employees are exposed to.
