Aim
The purpose is to record an electronic copy of your DMHP Instrument within the MyLearning This has come about due to the increased numbers in contract staff, staff movement between locations in the Northern Territory and variances in the reporting systems throughout the Territory. Uploading your signed DMHP Instrument into this course allows NT Health to track existing and expired Instrument holders, and to report DMHP status to management and Human Resources.
Target Audience
Nursing and Allied Health employees/contractors who hold a current DMHP Instrument
Learning Outcomes
Understanding the principles, guidelines and practices of the current NT Health adopted Mental Health and Related Services Act.
Competency in the application and administration of the Instrument and associated documentation.
Completion Requirements
- Upload your DMHP Instrument into this MyLearning course.
- Register the date of signing of the Instrument by the Chief Psychiatrist
- The evidence you upload will be reviewed by the course coordinator and, if found to be valid you will be acquitted in this course. You can check your completion status under your MyLearning Record of Learning.
Technical Requirements
The ability to scan and upload the document to a computer. Staff are strongly encouraged to provide soft copy of document in PDF form. An image (.jpg) only can be accepted if it provides a clear view of document. Maximum upload capacity is 10MB.
