As part of the NT Government’s responsibilities this training course is designed to familiarise employees with the National Agreement and the NT’s Closing the Gap Implementation Plan.

Purpose / Overview

As part of the NT Closing the Gap Implementation Plan, The NTG has committed to ensuring that all NTG agencies and NGO's are correctly informed and understand the importance and outcomes being sought through the Closing the Gap agreement.

The online training module will give users access to information that covers the history of Closing the Gap, the new National Agreement, the implementation of the National Agreement, including priority reforms and socio-economic targets and the reporting and monitoring of the framework.

The current training module is an interactive, online resource that includes video graphics, imagery, quotes, data and flip tiles. The course currently has 15 lessons that are sectioned into the following topic areas:

Priority Reforms and Socio-Economic Targets

Expected duration of this course is 1 hour

How to pass / Completion

To complete the course there is a six question Quiz, on the topics covered. The current pass mark is set at 85% and upon successful completion users have the opportunity to download a certificate of completion.
