Watarrka National Park Safety Induction
Any tour guide who is undertaking a guided walk (including employees of tour charter companies such as drivers and interpreters accompany tours) must complete the Watarrka National Park Safety Induction course, prior to undertaking any tour with the Park.
Learning Outcomes
The objective of this training is to:
- Understand the safety aspects of the walks.
- Knowledge of where the First Aid and Emergency Call Devices are located on the walk.
- Assist in giving the required pre-walk information to clients about any signification hazards or risk they may encounter and how you, as the tour guide, can reduce or eliminate these risks.
