Purpose
This self directed learning package has been developed to provide the identified employees knowledge in pressure injury prevention. This course will fulfil the Essential Training requirements and can be included in CPD hours.

- National Safety and Quality Services Standards and DoH network policy
- Pressure Injury Risk Assessment
- Pressure Injury Risk Assessment Tools
- Prevention of pressure injuries
- Management of pressure injuries
Duration
Expected duration for viewing tutorial and completing the online assessment quiz is 1 hour.
Completion requirements
Pressure Injury risk assessment and prevention and management training is an essential requirement to be completed every 5 years.
- Complete the tutorial
- Complete the online assessment quiz, you must achieve 100% to pass
- A certificate will be made available once the assessment is completed and passed
