The Child Health and Practical Paediatrics workshop is a five day face to face course focusing on updating knowledge and skills in Child Health and Paediatrics.

A course for Health Professionals working with children and families across Top End, Big Rivers & East Arnhem (TEBREA) region (EN's, RN's, RAN's, AHP's).

Overview

The Child Health and Practical Paediatrics workshop focuses on developing and consolidating knowledge and skills in Child Health and Paediatrics for health professionals working with children and families within the TEBREA region. It aims to provide participants with theoretical knowledge and practical skills to be able to safely and effectively deliver child health programs and paediatric care in their clinical setting. This course incorporates assessment and treatment skills to care for the well and sick child.

Prerequisites

 Completion of the Child Health series 1, 2 & 3 on Mylearning and Optimus Core & Pulse from iLearn QLD is required.

To complete this course, attendees must attend all five days in full and have completed the prerequisites.
