This introductory Territory Records Management (TRM) system training provides the necessary knowledge and skills to NTG staff to meet their records management obligations, and is delivered as instructor-led training. Suitable for users who have completed the Content Manager (TRM) Introduction online training. 

Target

This course has been developed for DCDD supported agencies.

Overview

Content Manager is the system used to manage the Northern Territory Government's (NTG) records and has advanced inbuilt security features to protect government records.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this course, you will understand:

  • Your responsibilities to create, store and manage government records.
  • Why we use TRM and how to protect information from threats.
  • The layout of TRM and how to add favourite records.
  • The hierarchy of records and the different record types that can be used.
  • The NTG records security model.
  • Where to obtain support and resources.

You will gain experience using TRM (Content Manager) to:

  • Apply customisation and configure TRM for first use.
  • Apply search techniques to locate records.
  • Create a file and add your records into TRM.
  • View, edit and send records directly from TRM.

Cost

There is no cash outlay or upfront cost to this training. Information Management services are provided to your agency in accordance with DCDDs cost allocation model.

Completion

To be marked as completing the training, you are required to attend the training session in full ie. 100% attendance.
