Target Audience 

This training course is intended for SAMS Administrators.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, participants will have knowledge of: 

  • Menu Bar options for General, Administration & System Management Modules
  • Produce an emergency report
  • Searching options for students and staff members
  • Add and modify user’s details
  • Student Enrolment Process including SMI 
  • Set-up system preferences
  • Locate & Edit specific parameters
  • Speed Edit student records function
  • Create, Edit & Maintain Groups
  • Create User Defined Information (UDI) Fields
  • Add & maintain activities in the School Diary

Session Delivery Mode

Training sessions are delivered:

  • Face-to-face onsite, or
  • Virtually via Microsoft Teams
    • Please ensure the Microsoft Teams application is installed on the device you will be using.

Duration

240 minutes.

Completion Requirements

To be marked as completed, participants must:

  • Attend the entire training session
  • Participate in all required activities

Technical Requirements

For virtual sessions via Microsoft Teams:

  • Ensure Microsoft Teams is installed and functioning
  • Test your headset, microphone, and audio prior to the session
