Patient Experience & Consumer Experience - A Framework for Action
OUTCOME: Following completion of this module you will have a better understanding of the Patient Experience & Consumer Experience Framework (PEACE)
Getting to know your patient and community
OUTCOME: Following completion of this module you will have a better understanding of cultural diversity in the Northern Territory and the health effect to the population
Person Centred Care
OUTCOME: Following completion of this module you will be able to understand and evaluate person-centred care and how you can make a difference
Communicating with people
OUTCOME: Following completion of this module you will have a better understanding of effective communication and the needs of the population of Northern Territory
Introduction to Cultural Safety
OUTCOME: Following completion of this module you will have an awareness of how culture may inform values, behaviours, beliefs and basic assumptions.
Consumer Feedback
OUTCOME: Following completion of this module you will understand the importance of Consumer Feedback and why feedback from patients is an important tool we can use to improve our service.
Communicating with Interpreters
OUTCOME: Following completion of this module you will be able to identify the need for interpreters and have knowledge of how to access the service
Informed Consent
OUTCOME: Following completion of this module you will be able to ensure informed consent is provided to all patients

Additional requirement for all Clinical Staff
All Clinical Staff will also complete the Partnering with consumers: Clinical course

- Informed Consent
