MyLearning Training

MyLearning is the OneNTG Learning Management System (LMS), that allows course owners to administer their courses using the MyLearning platform.

Who this MyLearning Basics training is for

The MyLearning Basics: Course Administration Training (MLB) course is targeted training, tailored to suit the individual needs of course owners depending on the activities they have within their course.

This training is for NTG staff who already have one or more courses created and published, or nearly-published, in MyLearning.

You only need this training if:

  • The Digital Learning and Innovation team has already created and configured your course for you, in MyLearning

    AND/OR

  • You have inherited existing course/s, and need to learn how to manage the existing course/s.

    AND/OR

  • You are an existing Course owner who would like a refresher on how to manage your course/s.

If you do not have any courses created yet, or are not sure if any MyLearning courses have been created for you/your business unit, you should request a Training Needs Consultation instead.

What a Training Needs Consultation will cover

If you want to develop a course to be hosted on MyLearning, we can offer you a 1 hour initial "training needs consultation". One of our team members will discuss your training requirements and provide advice on what options are available for you to manage your course/s in MyLearning. The consultation will cover:

  • Motivation / reasons for publishing on MyLearning
  • Expected delivery mode
  • Minimum target audience
  • Expiry / compliance requirements
  • Content development
  • Expected duration
  • Maintenance requirements
  • Assessment/s
  • Getting approval to publish the course
  • Other considerations

If, after the training needs consultation, you would like to proceed with hosting your course/s on MyLearning, we will work with you to configure your course in MyLearning. When the draft course is ready, you will need to complete mandatory MyLearning Basics training.

  1. Determine who in your team needs to attend the Training Needs Consultation
